Would like to gain additional knowledge on jsp and servlet , then this would help you
1)Java 2 Web Developer Certification Study Guide with CD-ROM (Hardcover) by Natalie Levi (Author), Philip Heller (Author)
2)Professional JSP : Using JavaServer Pages, Servlets, EJB, JNDI, JDBC, XML, XSLT, and WML

If you already had experience on jsp and servlets, then start with Hanumant (scwcd exam guide). Beginners have to start with head first servlet book. In my case ,I know basics about jsp and servlet, so my choice was Hanumant book. It’s pretty good , adhered to scwcd chapters. I had read Hanumant book twice and I have skimmed through Head First servlet.
Once you are comfortable with jsp and servlet, it’s time to test your awareness. Get Head first servlet (in the end of the book, you can find questions). Intricate to take those questions, since we don’t know how many options to choose(In exams, you can find number of options to be choose). I felt Head servlet Jsp book questions are thorny when compared to real exam.
At last, try to code as many as possible (examples provided in books ) .It will be very helpful, instead of assuming the things (to remember) or just memorizing.
Missing syllables in both books (head first and hanumant book) :
*They will not teach about ejbs . In exam they will ask about ,how ejb is mapped in Web.xml.
* Know about this configuration deployment elements : env-entry, ejb-ref, ejb-local-ref, resource-ref, resource-env-ref.
* Concentrate well on design patterns, it’s tricky and difficult to predict the answer.
All the best :) ..
